R . SUNDARAM
President, SEWC

With greenhouse emissions at unprecedented levels and global warming emerging as the unified concern of all responsible professionals, the focus of the engineering community is now increasingly on creating a sustainable habitat. The International Colloquium being organized in Bangalore is a very rare opportunity for Structural Engineers, Architects and indeed all professionals involved in the creation of the Built Environment to listen to stalwarts from all over the world.

For the first time, we will have the opportunity to listen to both the best of structural engineer as top architects. Delegates will have the opportunity to witness 18 distinguished speakers and three Interactive Sessions debating the main theme of the seminar. As President of SEWC Worldwide, I am happy that remarkable event will serve as laudable precursor to the 4th SEWC to be held in April 2011 in Como, Italy.

I wish that all professionals make use of this unique opportunity for a beneficial interaction with fellow professionals and a truly memorable get together of creative minds involved in designing tomorrow's world.

K. JAISIM
Chairman, IIA(KC)

Every delegate and participant of this Colloquium, which is bringing together a rare combination of Architects and Structural Engineers - can look forward to a great interaction and an enriching experience.
